OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2015. Ford Motor Company (FMC) and CMC Motors Group LTD, the sole distributor of Ford in Uganda, have opened a Quick Lane Tyre and Auto Centre in the capital city of Kampala, in order to expand its footprint and improve the service offering to customers.

Quick Lane centres are an initiative of Ford Motor Company, with facilities that offer motorists the option of having professional maintenance performed for minor service items in the shortest amount of time possible and regardless of their vehicle’s brand.

The services offered include oil and filter changes, battery replacement, fitment of new brake pads and drive belts, as well as electronic diagnostics. Quick Lane centres can also fit and rotate tyres, perform wheel alignment, and replace shock absorbers.
