OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot (Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) announces that Deputy CEO for Customer Relations Vadim Zingman has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rossiya Airlines at the Board’s meeting held on July 17 in St. Petersburg.

Vadim Zingman has worked for Russia’s flagship airline Aeroflot since 2009. Under his management Aeroflot’s customer service has achieved global recognition, with the Carrier receiving more than 60 international awards for service including Best Airline in Eastern Europe four times at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards.

Aeroflot Group assumed full commercial control of Rossiya Airlines on 30 March 2014, continuing the successful process of integrating the subsidiaries that Aeroflot acquired from State Corporation Rostec in 2011. Rossiya now operates flights under Aeroflot’s SU code.
