OREANDA-NEWS. Yesterday, in the Lipetsk region near the village Kazinka it was solemn laying of the first stone in the construction of a car plant Lifan. In October of 2014 it was signed an investment agreement between the corporation and Lifan administration of SEZ "Lipetsk" in the presence of prime ministers of Russia and China. The new plant will be located on area of 60 hectares. Today it is an open field, but two years later there will be build factory buildings and it will begin the production of cars. The production capacity is estimated at 60 thousand cars a year. The volume of investments – is 300 million Dollars. 

The company promises to involve 1,500 employees. But in general, taking into account the construction, auxiliary facilities, marketing services and other "close to production" services the number of new jobs in the Lipetsk region could rise to 16,500.

Welding shop area will be 16,800 square meters. m. The shop will place two main flexible welding lines and a mobile assembly line. Paint shop area – is 22480 sq. m. Line color throughout will be equipped with robotic devices, it is promised only water-soluble ink during coloring. Area assembly shop – is 18,600 square meters. m. It will include the assembly line and test.

The factory complex also includes its own proving ground and a large warehouse logistics - 21,600 square meters. m.

It is stated that at the new plant all the production will be focused on the environment: in the production it will be used non-toxic products; most of the production processes are automated. To underline its commitment to environmentally friendly production, at the presentation of the future of the plant and its potential, the representatives of Lifan demonstrated for ceremony participants the electric car.

The general director of Lifan Motor Rus, Sun Tszetszyun, by speaking at the presentation, promised residents of Lipetsk region for a discount on future vehicles that will be produced by the plant - at a rate of at least 10 000 Rubles.
