Power management company Eaton will showcase an expanded range of electrical balance of system (BOS) solutions for utility, commercial, and OEM solar customers at Intersolar North America 2015, from July 14 through 16, in booth #8221, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Eaton will also deliver a presentation on deploying utility-scale solar and energy storage systems at the event, and is in contention with NRG Renew to win the annual Intersolar North America Award for its work on the solar installation at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The presentation is part of the “Energy Storage: Utility-Scale Applications” track from 3:30 to 4:50 p.m., and will explore best practices for optimizing overall system efficiency, reliability and safety.

For the annual Intersolar North America Award program, Eaton alternative energy sales engineer, Megan Greenwood, will provide an overview of the Mandalay Bay project with NRG Renew’s director of project engineering, Erika Hanson. The presentation is on Tuesday, July 14, at 12:30 p.m. in Moscone West Level 3, Alcove 2.
