OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2015. Ford Peru celebrated its first year of operations in the country after its settlement as a Ford Motor Company subsidiary on July 2014.

During its first year, Ford Peru sold 1.455 vehicles. For the first semester of 2015, it achieved a market share of 1%, close to its objective for 2015 full year, which represents almost the double average market share achieved by the previous importer in the last 5 years. 

In 2016, the objective is to reach a market share of 1.8%  by rolling out an aggressive dealer network expansion and enhancing Ford?s primary brand image. Ford Peru counts with 8 official dealers. 

Ford’s current product portfolio in the country includes Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Mustang, EcoSport, Escape, Explorer, Expedition, Ranger and F-150.

With this encouraging start, Ford celebrates the implementation of its ONE Ford Plan throughout South America to offer Peruvian consumers vehicles equipped with the latest innovative technologies.
