OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia - GeoStat, in January-June 2015, foreign trade turnover of Georgia totaled USD 4 761 million (excluding spontaneous trade), by 13% less than during the analogous period of 2014.

During the period under review, export totaled USD 1082 million (by 9% less), import - USD 3680 million (by 9% less).

The unfavorable trading balance of Georgia totaled USD 2 598 million, that totaled 55% of the whole foreign trade turnover.
