OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2015. This week, Nashville, Tenn. plays host to the fifth-annual U.S. GT Academy Finals. Three months ago, over 40,000 video gamers across the United States embarked on their journey to become the next GT Academy Champion. This week, the top 20 virtual drivers will descend upon Nashville to compete in the U.S. Finals. Performance in virtual, physical and on-track competition will be evaluated, with the top six performers advancing to the global finals in the United Kingdom next month.

Finalists will be competing in physical challenges from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Driving competition will occur between 12 and 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. The winners, who will be invited to the global finals, are scheduled to be announced at 6 p.m.
