OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2015. Epson Thailand, the printer and projector leader in the Thai market, has celebrated its 25th anniversary with a project providing Epson Smart Classrooms to 25 schools throughout Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Pakistan.

The Epson Smart Classroom solution features Epson hardware including all-in-one L350 ink tank system printers, EB-485 short-throw projectors, tablets, PCs, routers, and servers for teachers and students. This equipment can be integrated with content provided by schools or external sources and allows teachers and students to share information conveniently. Applications include tests to assess learners' comprehension and various edutainment games.

The project will begin by installing a smart classroom at Kanchananukroh School in Kanchanaburi province, Thailand, with installations at the remaining 24 schools to be completed before the end of this year.

Epson plans to follow its Smart Classroom project with the Smart Classroom Champion scheme, which will implement regular training for educators from each participating school and allow them to share experiences and knowledge from that will be used to further develop Epson smart classrooms.
