OREANDA-NEWS. The inflation rate in Georgia made 0,02% in June 2015 -told in the National Statistics Office of Georgia "GeoStat".

In the reporting period, alcohol drinks and tobacco prices increased by 0,5%, while those in the transport sphere - by 3,2%; prices in in the healthcare sphere - by 0,9%; those in the sphere of hotel, cafe and restaurant services - by 0,4%. Meanwhile, foodstuffs and soft drinks prices dropped by 1,9%; public utilities services - by 0,7; in education sphere - by 0,3% and in communication sphere - by 0,3%.

The inflation rate in Georgia made 4,5% in June 2015, as against June 2014. Over the reporting period, alcohol drinks and tobacco prices increased by 11,4%; foodstuffs and soft drinks prices - by 5,7%; service at hotels, cafes and restaurants - by 3,9%; in the healthcare sphere - by 7,4%; in the education sphere - by 2,9%; public utilities services - by 1%; in communications sphere - 0,9%. At the same time, prices in the transport sphere dropped by 0,6%.
