OREANDA-NEWS. The new Ford Focus will become the first  Ford vehicle in Russia with a new 1.5-liter EcoBoost petrol engine.  

The new turbocharged 1.5-liter engine produces 150 hp at 6000 rev / min and provides 240 Nm torque ranging from 1,600 to 4,000 rev / min. Fuel consumption in the combined mode is 6.7  liters per 100 km, and the rate of CO2 emission is 154 g / km. 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine takes 9.2 seconds to accelerate the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h and can reach  maximum speed of 210 km / h. The engine is certified to operate on the A-92, Ford Sollers press service reports.

According to information given to AUTOSTAT agency at Ford Sollers press service, the new Ford Focus will be introduced in the Russian market in the third quarter of the year. CKD production of this model will be launched at Ford Sollers plant in Vsevolozhsk.
