OREANDA-NEWS. Sales under preferential leasing program, active from May 15, exceeded 4,500 vehicles. 985 contracts were signed only last week, from 15 to 21 June. 45 Russian leasing companies take part in the program, press service of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia reports.

The program provides for vehicle leasing with 10% discount for initial installment. So, if down payment under the contract is 20% of the vehicle cost, the customer will pay 10% as initial payment, and the remaining 10% will be compensated from the federal budget. The program covers all categories of vehicles produced in 2015.

The leaders in the segment of leasing for individuals are CONTROL Leasing and Europlan leasing companies.
