Tele2 cuts on celebrities
OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has launched a new advertising campaign and explained why it doesn’t use celebrities for promoting its products.
Tele2 does not film movie stars, famous sportsmen and musicians in its ads – so subscribers can be sure that they pay mobile services rather than salaries of celebrities and their needs. Tele2 is not only offering transparent and easy-to-understand pricing rules but also cuts operating expenses in order to keep low prices on mobile services.
Heroes of Tele2 new advertising videos are carrying out an interesting experiment. They are confident that mobile services are cheaper without celebrities in ads. Before the very eyes of the viewers, young musicians are getting rid of everything from a real celebrity’s surroundings – expensive furniture and clothes, bodyguards, photographer and stylist. Having made ads as simple as possible musicians come to conclusion: “With celebrity vanished from the ads, mobile services stay flat but the prices go down.”
