OREANDA-NEWS. Once again Sberbank CIB is among the winners at the annual NAUFOR "Elite of the Securities Market" awards, having taken first place in the category "Best Research" for the company's efforts in 2014. The award ceremony took place at the Moscow City Golf Club.

Hosted by the Russian National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR) since 2000, the "Elite of the Securities Market" awards are one of the oldest and most prestigious accolades in the Russian securities market. The winners are the securities market participants who demonstrate the most outstanding achievements in various areas of the securities market over the previous year. Nominations are submitted by professional securities market participants who are members of NAUFOR and the winners are chosen by a nationwide jury which includes representatives of financial regulatory agencies, the securities market infrastructure as well as a number of the most respected members of the finance community. Awards are distributed in 17 categories.

In previous years Sberbank CIB was recognised at NAUFOR's "Elite of the Securities Market, earning first place in the categories "Best Investment Bank" and "Best Research" in 2014 and "Best Trading Desk" and "Best Stock Market Company" in 2013.
