OREANDA-NEWS. July 01, 2015. Senior students of the Henry Ford Technical School (HFTS) –which has developed its activities within Pacheco Plant during the last 50 years– visited the Ford Design Hall at Buenos Aires Autoshow 2015 on Friday June 26th. 

At Ford’s stand, the students met the new Mustang that will be launched in Argentina in 2016, as well as the New Ka,   –also presented at Buenos Aires Autoshow– and the new F-150 –Ford’s multi-awarded pick-up manufactured in the United States–. Students could also see and interact with the new Focus, with which they carry out educational practices as part of their studies in mechanical engineering at Pacheco Plant. 

Additionally, students could also tour the Buenos Aires Autoshow to learn the latest news and trends of the automotive industry presented at the event.

In 2015, the HFTS celebrates its 50 years. The school was founded on 1965 by Ford Motor Argentina and since then, it develops its activities within the Pacheco Industrial Center. Throughout these 50 years, Henry Ford Technical School has accompanied the various national education and provincial policies, providing excellent education.

The ETHF is mixed, open to the community and currently has 210 students. 1188 graduates conducted their studies at the school and about 100 are working at Ford as interns or employees.
