OREANDA-NEWS. The MSA plant as part of Rimera Group will supply ball valves for MERO Germany AG, oil pipeline company.

The subject of the concluded contract is a batch of ball valves dia. 25 – 400 mm, Class 600. The delivery time has been set to late August this year. The contracted valves are intended for the upgrade project at the refinery in Voburg, Germany.

The ball valves will be manufactured in compliance with stringent German regulations pertaining to pipeline fittings (TRFL, AD 2004 and DIN 3230 Part 6), which require leak tests at high air pressure up to PN 1.1 MPa.

"This order associated with the construction of the refinery in Germany confirms MSA's long-term cooperation with the client's parent enterprise, Czech state oil transport company MERO R. Last year the MSA plant shipped valves worth over 130 thousand Euros. They were meant for the central oil depot in the Czech town of Nelahozeves", says Jan Halfar, MSA Executive Director.
