HyundaiNews.com received the Gold Stevie® Award
The American Business Awards are the nation’s most prestigious business awards program. Nicknamed the “Stevies” for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Monday, June 22, at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel. More than 400 nominees and their guests attended.
“All Hyundai vehicles are engineered to put information at drivers’ fingertips, and our online newsroom is no different,” said Chris Hosford, executive director, corporate communications, Hyundai Motor America. “Our overall goal for the site was to make it easy for journalists to get what they need as easily and quickly as possible. Receiving this award is confirmation that we designed a best-in-class online newsroom.”
In December 2014, Hyundai launched an entirely redesigned online newsroom to serve as a key resource for users looking for product and corporate information on the company. The fully-customizable homepage includes a collapsible menu on the upper right-hand side of the page that gives quick access to PR contacts, sales data and latest news from any page on the site. The site can also be customized by collapsing or expanding site sections as users see fit, displaying the most relevant information to each user each time they return to the site. A new social media hub displays the latest posts from Hyundai’s Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts right on the homepage, while a more powerful search tool includes comprehensive filtering options that make finding content on the site easier than ever.
