OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2015. The competitive selection took two months, with 14 representatives of small business who decided to participate. Ten of them, by the decision of the competition committee chaired by the acting head of Krasnokamensk administration Olga Kanunnikova, were provided financial support in the form of a grant of 150 thousand rubles.

In particular, in accordance with the presented business plans the allocated funds will be used in Krasnokamensk to develop children's club "Mother and Baby", a bakery, children's amusement center, and craft workshop. Individual entrepreneurs Karina and Vitaliy Pylypenko are going to start growing artichoke in Krasnokamensk area, Evgeny Ishmanov is about to expand his carpentry shop Brusok, and Mikhail Yamulin will create a wood processing plant.

All these projects have a social component - creation of new jobs, production of essential goods or focus on children.

ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. is implementing a consistent policy for the support of social entrepreneurship in Krasnokamensk and in Krasnokamensk area. Last summer, a competition "Start your business" was held under the motto "For own benefit and for the benefit of the city". Krasnokamensk residents had the opportunity to submit to the city administration projects aimed at improvement of the quality of life and social climate in the city. The best projects for improvement of the quality of life and social climate in the city also received grants of ARMZ Uranium holding.

"According to our records, financial aid has led to the real development of social entrepreneurship. In particular, a children's products department has been opened, a small private poultry farm, children's amusement center, a new caf? is being built. We have seen that money was not wasted, and that socially oriented business is needed by Krasnokamensk residents; therefore, we have decided to work further in this direction ", - said Marina Liborakina, Deputy Director General for Strategy and Business Development of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.

Like in the last year, the project for the support of social entrepreneurship was implemented in close cooperation with municipal authorities.
