Yatsenyuk proposes business representatives a bargain: country receives jobs and taxes, while business - fair tax system and clear rules
OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2015. "Let’s strike a bargain. The country needs from you new jobs, taxes paid and performance of part of the social function that is within business responsibility. You need from the state a fair tax system, including the VAT refund, clear rules, an increase in your capitalization and in your revenues," Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said during a meeting with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and the European Business Association on Thursday, 25 June.
He recalled that yesterday the State Fiscal Service received KPIs (Key Performance Indicator, key performance indicators - ed.) "We are ready to introduce such KPIs in all Ministries. Not all at once - we have to do step by step, and it’s part of the work we do."
"This issue needs your personal proper business support. Your public position will enable to speed up reforms," he addressed to the business representatives.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk called an appropriate presentation of Ukraine to be important help for business, "Unless we promote ourselves, nobody will do this."
He has stressed that the country is moving forward despite the ordeals: "We are fighting on the front against Russia, and we are fighting on the front against corruption, irresponsibility and this horrible oldfashioned system. We are putting up a united front - government, business, nation."
"Being united, we will find all the answers," Arseniy Yatsenyuk said.
