OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2015. Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (FMCSA) has honoured the top Master’s Degree student at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) during the academic awards for 2014, held recently at the Feather Market Hall in Port Elizabeth.

Nuraan Agherdien (28) was presented with the Ford Premier Award by Basil Raman, Operations Manager of the Ford Struandale Engine Plant, for the best Master’s Degree in Technology by Dissertation: Social Sciences and Humanities for her thesis titled “Investigating student readiness for tertiary education”.

“The Ford Premier Award enables Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa to honour the top achievers at NMMU, and we’re proud to be associated with the university and honour its best performing students,” Raman commented.
