OREANDA-NEWS. Ford’s Motorcraft.com web site is getting a more global focus.

Previously geared toward the United States, its new emphasis will allow Ford’s automotive aftermarket parts brand, Motorcraft, to better position itself with the professional aftermarket service providers across the globe while taking advantage of the worldwide market for automotive aftermarket parts – estimated at more than \$620 billion.

The new site provides in-depth information about Motorcraft’s extensive lineup of high-quality, vehicle-specific parts applications for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. Although the site is primarily geared toward aftermarket service providers and parts distributors, anyone will be able to access it.

Available in six languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Korean and English) and optimized for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, Motorcraft.com has a “Where to Buy” locator that connects users to authorized Motorcraft retailers that sell Motorcraft parts in their part of the world. For help with installing Motorcraft parts, the site links to Motorcraftservice.com, an extensive automotive technical resource support for aftermarket service providers and do-it-yourselfers.

“This is just the first phase of the all-new Motorcraft.com,” says Fiona Gronowicz, Parts and Service Marketing manager, Emerging Market Services. “The team working on this project, which is a joint venture between EMS and FCSD in the United States, is excited about moving into phase two of the site’s development, which will include a parts catalog and customized content by region and country, including offers.
