Sberbank and Gorenje d.d. of Slovenia Sign Memorandum
OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank of Russia and Gorenje d.d. of Slovenia signed the memorandum of understanding at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The signing of the memorandum marks a continuation of the ten-year cooperation with the local Sberbank banka d.d. in Slovenia.
Sberbank Slovenia (Sberbank banka d.d.) has been a member of the Sberbank banking group since 15 February 2012. The bank ranks 8th in terms of total assets and 5th in terms of annual results before taxes in the Slovenian banking market (among 17 banks) (31 December 2014). Due to its international network, the Bank is able to provide financial support to its clients not only in Slovenia, in which it operates a branch network of 12 branches in 8 Slovenian cities, but also to support the client's efforts in doing business abroad.
As of 31 December 2014, the total assets of the bank amounted to EUR 1,779,260 thousand, and its capital adequacy was 15.85%.
Gorenje Group is a leading European home appliance manufacturer. The Group generates the majority of revenue in Europe. Its key markets include Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, South-Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Australia and USA.
