OREANDA-NEWS. During the first five months of 2015, all AVTOVAZ assembly lines operated steadily. A production plan for the third quarter of 2015 is balanced and takes into account the market situation and employment commitments, the company informed.

According to Kolesa.ru portal, next three months the Kalina / Granta (including Datsun) assembly and body production and the Lada 4x4 production will work two shifts 5 days a week, production of vehicles on the Alliance (B0) platform - three shifts 5 days a week, the Lada Priora assembly line - one shift 5 days a week. Production will be stopped just as planned - AVTOVAZ announced a corporate holiday from 27 July to 16 August.

According to AVTOVAZ president Bo Andersson, production plan for 2015 is 585,000 vehicles, including about 160,000 Renault, Nissan and Datsun cars. So, even in the declining market, the increase in production will be about 20,000 vehicles compared to last year, the head of AVTOVAZ said.
