OREANDA-NEWS. According to Rosstat, Russian enterprises assembled 568,000 passenger cars during five months of 2015,  that is 23.8% less than a year ago. Meanwhile, in May, about 88,000 vehicles were produced, which is 37.9% less than a year ago.

We should mention that at the end of May, AVTOVAZ manufactured the 900,000th Lada Priora, which was put on the production line in 2007. As for foreign vehicle production, due to the decrease in demand in the Russian market, PSMA Rus, as well as Volkswagen Group Rus company, stopped its conveyor for some time, after which its enterprises in Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod were switched to two-shift operation regime.
