OREANDA-NEWS. Renault company is introducing the updated Renault Duster SUV in Russia, which will go on sale in the middle of July. The vehicle got a new lineup of powerful and low-consumption engines, new options, including Renault Start innovative system of remote engine start, and a new all-terrain design. The price of the new Duster is the same as its predecessor’s cost – 584,000 roubles for 4x2 version with 1.6-liter 114 hp engine, Renault press service reports.

The new Duster, as well as its predecessor, is produced at Renault plant in Moscow. In 2013 and 2014 the Renault Duster was the leader in the SUV market and the best selling Renault model. More than 220,000 SUVs have been sold in Russia since March 2012, when the model went on sale. We should mention that Russia is the largest market for the Renault Duster in the world, ahead of dynamic markets such as Brazil, France and India. Over 1.4 million Duster have been sold in the world since 2010. The new Duster in the Russian market is designed to retain leading position of the model and attract new customers.
