OREANDA-NEWS. The International Youth Forum Rosseti, the organizer of which is for the fifth consecutive year JSC "Russian Grids", was launched in St. Petersburg in the framework of official events of SPIEF 2015. To participate in the final forum in St. Petersburg teams of national energy companies from China, France, Germany and Russia arrived, as well as a team of young scientists from leading Russian power engineering universities. IDGC of Centre at the event is represented by Head of the Department of energy conservation and energy efficiency Natalia Yakshina.

The opening ceremony of the final events of the International Youth Forum was held on June 15 at St. Petersburg Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. On the same day the teams made a presentation and discussion of development projects (project idea) of power systems, then began their detailed study.

Elaborated versions of projects of power systems of the future the forum participants presented the next day under foresight sessions. In their brief presentations they paid close attention to the development of "clean" energy, renewable energy, and utilization of hazardous waste. In addition, young power engineers settled on the integration of companies from different countries and development of common technological principles and standards, a single language of the power industry. They also discussed the possibility that different regions of the world represent, including Russia, to develop innovative projects.

In the coming days the key events of the International Youth Forum will be: a meeting with the top management of JSC "Russian Grids", presentation of projects of power systems at a special session of the heads of the largest energy companies in Europe and Asia, as well as participation in a roundtable discussion of JSC "Russian Grids" - "Energy integration of Europe, Russia and Asia - endless possibilities" in the framework of the XIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The International Youth Forum Rossetti is held in St. Petersburg on 15-19 June 2015. Its motto is "Energy without Borders", the theme - "Design and integration of power systems of the future: limitless possibilities?". The main task is to develop projects for future energy systems taking into account the practices of integration and functioning of national power systems.
