OREANDA-NEWS. Ford Poland Managing Director Adam Kolodziejczyk has been crowned the country’s best importer of the last 25 years by Dealer magazine.

Kolodziejczyk received the prestigious honour in recognition of years of outstanding service to the Polish dealer sector. 2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the introduction of car dealerships in Poland.

Speaking after receiving his award at a special Gala held in the OSSA Congress Centre, Kolodziejczyk said: “I have always wanted to get to the point where we can say we sold one million new cars in Poland. I do not think it is possible for me but I believe it is possible for the dealers sitting in this hall.”

In 2014, Ford sold 22,251 passenger cars in Poland, achieving 7 per cent market share, and  5,269 commercial vehicles giving a 9.2 per cent market share.

Share volume has more than doubled since Kolodziejczyk joined Ford Poland in 2001. This year Ford Poland’s dealer network consists of 66 showrooms, six of which will be opened as FordStores this autumn.
