OREANDA-NEWS. June 23, 2015. Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Rimera Group General Director Vitaly Sadykov met in Kazan earlier today. During the meeting, Mr. Sadykov introduced newly appointed Alnas CEO Sergey Shunin to the Tatar Prime Minister.

The meeting was dedicated to discussing future development of Rimera's Altemievsk-based Alnas plant and the tasks of the new CEO. The main tasks are to achieve steady production performance, reach the break-even point and gradually increase profit, maintain and develop the company's social and charity projects, support the joint educational project College of the Future Tatarstan and provide social guarantees for the Alnas staff.

The officials specifically focused on cooperation of the Tatarstan Government and Rimera Group in the field of foreign economic activity.  Alnas export volume at 2014-end came to 136 mn roubles.  In 2015, Rimera Group in collaboration with ChelPipe Group has been actively negotiating on the subject of supply of Alnas products to foreign markets including Iran - this project is implemented under the auspices of the Government of Tatarstan. Alnas is currently participating in a ChelPipe project for the selection and packaged supply of equipment for complex wells collectively referred to as the "White Well" which is under way in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. The company continues supplying the foreign markets of India, Lithuania, Venezuela, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, this year's foreign contracts being worth more than 430 million roubles. The company is also working on entering the new markets of Latin America. 

Mr. Khalikov wished the new Alnas CEO success and expressed his confidence that Alnas plant which plays an important part in the economic potential of the republic would enter the new phase of development. 

"It is essential for us to maintain and develop the republic's industrial potential. The well-being of Alnas and other major Tatar companies dictate economic as well as social stability in the region", he said. 

Rimera's General Director Vitaly Sadykov noted the importance of the Government support in implementation of the company's plans and said the company would carry on joint projects and develop social and charity programs in the region within the framework of the social and economic cooperation agreement between Tatarstan and ChelPipe signed last December.

Today, Rimera officials also met Tatarstan Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zarypov.
