OREANDA-NEWS. June 23, 2015. SOT specialists developed two technical specifications as they prepared for the introduction of the Transneft new standards: Technical Specifications 1469-039-74238272-2014 for connectors for 159-426 mm trunk and process oil pipelines and oil product pipelines of up to 9.8 MPa and Technical Specifications 1469-040-74238272-2014 for 530-1,220 mm connectors for pipes of up to 11.8 MPa.

The specifications covered the entire range of connectors manufactured by Rimera's Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk plants.

SOT has currently obtained an industrial safety expert report for the production of pipe connectors for the top oil transport company according to the new technical specifications and had it registered with the Russian Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Oversight. The plant has also successfully passed a production inspection to meet the new Transneft standards.
