OREANDA-NEWS. A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia took place today within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2015.

The focus of the meeting was placed on Russian gas exports to Serbia. The parties discussed gas supply routes after 2019 following the expiry of the agreement for gas transit across Ukraine. In particular, the parties addressed gas deliveries to Serbia through the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.

In 2014 Gazprom supplied Serbia with 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas.

In 2013 a long-term contract was signed for Russian gas supply to Serbia in the amount of up to 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas annually for a period of 10 years.

On December 1, 2014 Gazprom and Turkish Botas signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline from Russia towards Turkey across the Black Sea. The gas pipeline will have an annual capacity of 63 billion cubic meters of gas.
