InterQuest awarded 'primary supplier' to the European Banking Authority
InterQuest has been working with the EBA and EIOPA since 2012 and this new framework contract is to supply interim IT professionals for a period of up to four years and has a maximum value of €13 million.
The EBA is an independent EU Authority which works to ensure effective and consistent prudential regulation and supervision across the European banking sector, maintaining financial stability in the EU and safeguarding the integrity, efficiency and orderly functioning of the banking sector. EIOPA's core responsibilities are to support the stability of the financial system, transparency of markets and financial products as well as the protection of policyholders, pension scheme members and beneficiaries.
The EBA is based in London and the EIOPA is based in Frankfurt and both were established on 1 January 2011 as part of the European System of Financial Supervision.
