OREANDA-NEWS. Renault company is introducing a new Easy'R robotic five -speed gearbox, which will be installed to all versions of the Logan, the Sandero (except for the Access, 1.2-liter, 75 hp) and the Sandero Stepway. AMT will be available for 20,000 roubles with 1.6-liter (82 hp) engine. Renault also offers four-speed automatic transmission coupled with 1.6-liter (102 hp) engine  for 38,000 roubles. All Renault dealer centers in Russia have already started taking orders. Vehicles with new transmissions will go on sale in July 2015, Renault Russia press service informs. AVTOVAZ has already started production of the Logan, the Sandero, the Sandero Stepway with the new automatic transmission in Togliatti.

The Renault Logan, the Sandero and the Sandero Stepway will be offered with 4-speed automatic transmission, which is installed to other Renault models. Automatic transmission control unit has been specially tuned for Russian conditions. Moreover, it adapts to the driving style of each individual motorist.

During the first five months of 2015, Renault dealers sold 47,130 vehicles in Russia, which is 41% less than a year ago. The Duster crossover became the best selling Renault model in Russia with 16,860 vehicles (-51.8%). The second place was taken by the Logan sedan with 16,493 cars sold (-15.3%). The Sandero hatchback is still on the third place in Renault rating with 11,184 vehicles sold during the period under review (-31.4%).
