OREANDA-NEWS. The new Lada Vesta will be available with 5-speed manual transmission, VAZ automated manual transmission (AMT or ‘robot’), and CVT. This was told by AVTOVAZ president Bo Andersson to Russia 24 TV channel.

The head of AVTOVAZ did not say which CVT will be installed to the Vesta. It is probably a transmission, installed to Nissan models. CVT will most likely be coupled with 1.6-liter 114 hp petrol engine – the Lada Vesta will get this engine from Renault-Nissan alliance, AvtoSreda reports. Besides 114 hp engine, the brand-new will also get new 1.6-liter 87 hp and 106 hp petrol engines.
