OREANDA-NEWS. DIXY Group announced retail revenue growth of 20.4% in Russian rubles in May 2015, and retail revenue growth of 24.6% in Russian rubles for the first five months of 2015.

For the first five months of 2015, DIXY Group retail revenue increased to RUR 108.4 bln (USD 1.9 bln) by 24.6% in RUR (decreased by 24.6% in USD) year-on-year.

In May 2015, DIXY Group retail revenue increased to RUR 23.4 bln (USD 461.8 mln) by 20.4% in RUR (decreased by 16.9% in USD) year-on-year.

Retail revenue of DIXY neighborhood stores increased to RUR 19.0 bln (USD 375.0 mln) by 23.2% in RUR (decreased by 14.9% in USD) year-on-year in May 2015.  

Retail revenue of Victoria Division increased to RUR 2.8 bln (USD 54.9 mln) by 10.1% in RUR (decreased by 24.0% in USD) year-on-year in May 2015. The growth was driven mainly by retail revenue from Victoria supermarkets which demonstrated 10.4% year-on-year growth in RUR (decreased by 23.8% in USD) and amounted to RUR 2.2 bln (USD 43.9 mln) in May 2015.

Retail revenue of Megamart Division increased to RUR 1.6 bln (USD 31.9 mln) by 8.9% in RUR (decreased by 24.8% in USD) year-on-year in May 2015.

For the first five months of 2015, the Company opened 215 stores net, including 40 store openings net in May 2015.

As of May 31, 2015, the Group had 2,410 stores under operation, including 2,280 DIXY neighborhood stores, 94 Victoria stores, 1 CASH store, and 35 compact hypermarkets MegaMart and MiniMart. As of May 31, 2015, the Group increased its selling space by 26% year-on-year to 809,730 square meters.
