OREANDA-NEWS. Bahrain Flour Mills Company B.S.C (Al-Matahin) and Mondelēz Bahrain Biscuits W.L.L, today signed a memorandum of understanding to build up their collaboration locally and regionally, and jointly support more sustainable growth that provides benefits to local communities and the economy.

The MoU paves the way for the two institutions to share knowledge and expertise whilst defining common long term goals of cooperation for the purchase of Al Matahin’s flour by Mondelez Bahrain Biscuits.

“We have recently concluded the rebranding of Bahrain Flour Mills Company B.S.C to ‘Al Matahin’ and this is the beginning of a new era for Al Matahin as it begins its commercial operations in the region, starting with Mondelez Bahrain Biscuits” said Mohammed Nass, CEO of Al Matahin.

“The MoU comes at a time when Bahrain witnesses reviving growth rates. There is great opportunity for local communities to benefit from the many Business and Employment opportunities that will be created by these developments” said Atif Al Khaja, COO of Al Matahin.

“The Memorandum of Understanding marks an important step forward in our ongoing collaboration. We strongly support Bahrain’s economic development, and this MoU with our partner Al Matahin allows us to jointly contribute to this growth” said Terry Denton, Project Director of MBB.

After the signing ceremony, participants had further discussions on their future plans.
