OREANDA-NEWS. Volkswagen announced packages and prices for the new Polo, assembled at Volkswagen Group Rus plant in Kaluga, which has been the brand’s bestseller since its launch in the market. The starting price of the new Polo is 554,900 roubles.

The new Volkswagen Polo will be offered to customers in three packaging arrangements: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. Trendline version is equipped with 1.6-liter 85 hp or 105 hp petrol engine with 5-speed manual transmission. Comfortline and Highline versions are available with 1.6-liter 105 hp petrol engine and 6-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. Comfortline version is also equipped with 1.6-liter 85 hp engine with  5-speed manual transmission.

According to the head of Volkswagen brand in Russia Pierre Boutin, the Volkswagen Polo remains the brand’s bestseller in the Russian market - since 2010 about 300,000 vehicles have been produced in Kaluga.
