OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2015. The Strategic Council of State Corporation Rosatom has taken several decisions on restructuring JSC Rusatom Overseas as this company successfully achieved the goals set in 2011 and following the decisions three new companies will be established.

JSC Rusatom Overseas Inc. will be operating as a Russian nuclear industry agent responsible for global promotion of Rosatom integrated offer for NPP construction projects. Evgeny Pakermanov has been appointed as Director General of Rusatom Overseas Inc.

JSC Rusatom International will be managing foreign NPP construction and operation on the basis of BOO (build, own, operate) contracts or as a shareholder in the project companies. This activity will primarily include project management of Akkuyu NPP in Turkey and Hanhikivi NPP in Finland. The appointed Director General of Rusatom International is Nikita Konstantinov.
The company responsible for the development of new nuclear non-energy businesses will be established by the end of the year.
Kirill Komarov, First Deputy Director General of Rosatom State Corporation, has noted that “when Rusatom Overseas was established, it had been tasked with international promotion of NPP projects, development of Rosatom integrated offer and elaboration of new product line of Rosatom nuclear non-power technologies. Over the years the company has successfully grown in all three dimensions and developed a massive layer of business activities that cannot physically exist within a single company. The time has come to allocate these activities into three separate proven and focused businesses”.

Evgeny Pakermanov graduated from Yekaterinburg University of Humanities with a degree in Finance & Credit in 1996. He worked for JSC Uralmash and JSC Izhora Plants. Since 2007 he worked as General Director of AEM-technology.

Nikita Konstantinov graduated from Obninsk Institute of Atomic Energy (NRNU Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) with a degree in Nuclear Engineering and got his second degree in Economics from the University of London in 1997. He started his career in 1986 at Chernobyl NPP as a health physicist. He worked in various positions in nuclear energy, nuclear safety, R&D in several companies and state authorities of Ukraine, as well as in the European Commission office in Kiev. In 2003 he moved to London to work at EBRD Headquarters managing nuclear activities of the Northern Dimension Environmental Partnership Fund. From 2006 he worked in Ukraine in senior executive positions at Ukrainian National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom” and later at Ukrainian capital energy utility “Kyivenergo”. In 2010 he was appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine responsible for nuclear energy. In 2013-2014 Nikita Konstantinov was acting as CEO of “Energoatom”.
