OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2015. Ford of Britain has launched a “Reunion” campaign to encourage owners of older Ford vehicles to prepare for summer drive-away holidays.

The Reunion invitation targets owners of Ford vehicles built between 2005 and 2011, inviting them to re-visit their local dealership to get their cars and vans ready for summer and benefit from some of Ford’s latest Motorcraft offers. This includes a 30-point ‘Summer Check’ and air conditioning refresh for ?9.99 (RRP), Motorcraft servicing from ?125 (RRP) as well as offers on tyres and routine repairs such as wheel alignment.

Ford is encouraging owners to take part in the Reunion on its social media channels, offering a free vehicle service to a weekly competition winner uploading an image of themselves with their vehicle built in the ‘classes’ of 2005-2011. The Reunion website also generates a vehicle nickname, using a combination of the registration and colour, and owners are invited to take a Reunion ‘school personality’ quiz.

Specially-selected accessory packs are available to Reunion customers on selected models, which include a ?99 (RPP) digital radio upgrade, Ford’s Bike Pack, adding crossbars and a Thule branded bike carrier, or a fixed tow bar pack – all at discounted rates.

Jon Wellsman, director, Ford Customer Service Division, said: “Our Ford Motorcraft package has been extremely successful since its launch in 2013, with a 10 per cent increase in target vehicles visiting Ford dealerships. We welcome the opportunity to maintain and strengthen the relationship with our customers - in addition to their cars – and our Reunion can offer just that.”
