OREANDA-NEWS. GNS summarized the results of the 1st quarter of 2015. There is a continuing tendency towards the rise in gas condensate processing - 1,080 kt (+ 48.5 % as compared with that period of time back in 2014) and the fall in oil refining - 733 kt (- 50.2 %), which in the first case is determined by the rise in high value-added goods production.

Besides, the Company managed to increase its conversion rate from 79.5 % to 84 %. A number of measures taken at the Oil Refinery during turnarounds helped to achieve better results.

Over a period of three months, the maximum growth in terms of production was shown at the propylene production unit and equals 86 kt (+ 3.6 %).

Such increase in ethylene and propylene production is connected with the stable operation of EP-300 production facilities, - said Danis Fairuzov, GNS Technical Director. – In 2015, GNS are planning to increase production capacity up to 330 kta. Thus, after the overhaul, it is planned to achieve regularly high capacity of 1000 tons per day in terms of ethylene.
