OREANDA-NEWS. Passenger car import in Russia decreased by 48.8% to 128,800 vehicles during the first four months of 2015. According to the Federal Customs Service of Russia, car import in Russia came up to \$2,266.5 million during the period under review. 123,100 vehicles for \$2,214.2 million were imported from non-CIS countries and 5,700 vehicles for \$52.3 million came from the CIS.  

In January-April, truck imports reduced by 74% to 7,200 vehicles for \$256.1 million, including 6,700 trucks for \$159.6 million from non-CIS and about 600 vehicles for \$96.5 million from CIS countries.
