OREANDA-NEWS. Jaguar Land Rover Russia announced starting price of the new Jaguar XE sport sedan, which goes on sale on 1 July 2015. The price of the new XE in the base variant – Pure -  with a 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 200 hp and 8-speed automatic transmission starts from 1.919 million roubles. It takes 7.7 seconds to accelerate up to 100 km / h, and the fuel consumption is 7.5 liters per 100 kilometers. The Jaguar XE Pure will also be offered with a 2.0-liter 180 hp diesel engine, coupled with the same 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox, Kolesa.ru reports.

Sedan with Portfolio, Prestige and XE R-Sport packages can be ordered with 2.0-liter 240 hp petrol engine and 180 hp diesel engine. Sport version XE S is equipped with a 3.0-liter 340 hp six-cylinder petrol engine with stop-start system and automatic transmission. The Jaguar XE S takes 5.1 seconds to accelerate up to 100 km / h. The diesel versions are not expected until the second half of 2015.

In the future, the list of the Jaguar XE versions can be extended with all-wheel drive modifications and configurations with V8 engine producing up to 550 hp. In the future, the XE can get a long wheelbase version, designed for the Chinese market, as well as coupe, estate car and cabriolet variants.
