The inaugural event has been designed to recognise the North East of Scotland's 50 years of involvement in energy and its achievements.

SeaEnergy PLC delivers strategic and operational solutions to energy companies around the world. At the heart of the company is a common objective to identify, develop, and apply innovation that improves performance, efficiency, and safety.

John Aldersey-Williams, CEO commented that:

"We are delighted to have been shortlisted among such high calibre companies. To have been nominated in this category is particularly important and exciting for us at SeaEnergy as we work hard to foster a climate of innovation across our organisation. To have been selected as a finalist in the first ever P&J Gold Awards is a fitting recognition of the brilliant on-going work of our team.

It has been a busy six months for all business streams within SeaEnergy PLC including the completion of significant R2S Visual Asset Management projects for super majors in the Gulf of Mexico, Canada and UKCS.   The P&J Gold Awards are the third prestigious award the Group has been shortlisted for since January 2015.

R2S Visual Asset Management system (delivered by SeaEnergy subsidiary Return To Scene) provides photographic capture and three dimensional modelling of oil & gas installations, linking these images to asset management databases for major international oil operators, allowing them to improve the performance of their assets whilst providing operational efficiencies. Return To Scene was acquired by SeaEnergy in August 2012.

The Consulting division delivers strategic support for companies in offshore energy, helping them to improve asset integrity, reduce costs and improve output.

The Marine division offers ship management services for offshore vessels in both oil & gas and offshore wind roles and is actively participating in tenders for the provision of purpose built offshore wind farm support vessels.
