OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2015. The investment inflow into the agricultural sector of Ukraine was about UAH66 billion this year. Minister of Agrarian Policyand Food Oleksii Pavlenko informed at the opening of the XXVII International Agricultural Exhibition "Agro-2015".

According to him, it is almost by UAH14 billion more than last year. "This year, interest in investing into agriculture has significantly increased. Moreover, manufacturers are investing their own funds, including the purchase of agricultural machinery. Bank loans made up only 8.4 billion," the Minister said.

He has expressed confidence that the high representative level of "Agro-2015" will increase the amount of investment into the agricultural sector and present to foreign partners the best achievements of Ukrainian producers. "Today, there are thousands of pieces of equipment, the best scientific achievements. Five official foreign delegations supported us, they are negotiating with our manufacturers regarding opportunities to attract investments and joint activity," Oleksii Pavlenko stated.

This year, the total exhibition area of ??"Agro-2015" is 25 thousand square meters. The best achievements of agro-industrial complex of Ukraine will be presented in the framework of the exhibition within 4 days. Production and investment potential will be presented by all regions of the country, as well as by the most powerful Ukrainian and international companies. Overall more than 1,000 guests from 16 countries will take part in the exhibition, including Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany and so on. Among the guests there will be diplomats, potential investors, international donors, business representatives and experts.

Moreover, a number of conferences, round tables, presentations, workshops, bilateral talks and exhibitions for each sector of agricultural production are scheduled during the exhibition.
