OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2015. SSE Scottish Hydro is looking for customers to share their views at a Customer Forum in Inverness. The company has been holding these events for a number of years and they have helped deliver improvements for customers, such as the introduction of a money back Customer Service Guarantee.

SSE Scottish Hydro would like to hear from electric heating customers in Inverness and the surrounding area to find out what they know about their meter and heating system. The forum, which takes place on Monday 15 June, will also enable SSE Scottish Hydro to better understand the extra help and advice that customers feel they would benefit from.

Tony Keeling, SSE’s Director of Customer Service & Sales, encouraged customers in Inverness to come forward: “We are committed to doing the right thing by our customers and continually improve the way we do things. Listening to a range of customer views and experiences is one of the best ways to identify how we can provide the best support and information, enabling  customers to get the most out of their heating system.”

Norman Kerr, Director of Energy Action Scotland, who will be acting as guest chair for the Customer Forum meeting, said: “SSE is to be commended for taking steps to listen to customer feedback and then to improve the support it provides in order to make a real difference. Similarly, I would encourage people to take up the information and advice on offer. The electric heating forum is an example of how SSE customers can make the best use of their heating systems.”

Customers interested in attending the event should email their name, address and telephone number to sseforum@sse.com or call 0800 072 8616.
