OREANDA-NEWS. LyondellBasell's Equistar complex in Channelview, Texas is restarting a methanol unit after it tripped 31 May, according to a filing with state regulators.

The incident resulted in flaring and emissions of nitrogen oxides from the unit and a reformer furnace. Operators are examining the cause of the issue, according to the filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
