GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a new ATR 72-600 aircraft to its new customer Alliance Air.Two additional aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2015. All three aircraft are part of GECAS’ existing order book with ATR.

Alliance Air is a subsidiary of Air India and currently operates a fleet of 9 aircraft to more than 25 domestic destinations.

Formed in 2000, GECAS Regional Aircraft Group leases nearly 400 turboprop and regional jet aircraft to airline customers worldwide. Among leading industry lessors, GECAS has the broadest product mix of turboprop and regional aircraft in the world including ATR, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft.
