OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2015. Looking for a place to charge your electrical devices and get some work done? Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is pleased to bring travelers another highly requested customer service amenity by making it even easier for travelers to get plugged in with two types of charging stations.

First, America’s Friendliest Airport has installed 36 sets of comfortable seating consisting of chairs and tables in all three terminal lobbies. The tables are equipped with outlets and USB ports, and travelers are able to set their devices on tables while they power up.

And, if you have been through the terminals recently, you may have seen signs saying “Get Plugged In.” Phoenix Sky Harbor has installed 28 charging kiosks throughout all terminals. These charging stations are located both in the lobbies as well as in several gate areas past security. The “Get Plugged In” charging stations feature three sides to plug in with six electrical outlets and six USB ports. One side is also equipped for ADA customers. An additional 72 outlets and 36 USB ports will be added airport-wide over the coming months which is in addition to the 240 electrical outlets and 204 USB ports-airport wide that have already been installed.

Next time you are traveling through Phoenix Sky Harbor, be sure to check out these new charging stations. And, remember Phoenix Sky Harbor also offers free WiFi to travelers, making it easy for you to keep up with work and your social networks on the go.
