OREANDA-NEWS. June 01, 2015. Friends Life Holdings plc (the "Issuer") wishes to announce that notification has been given to the holders of ?267,837,000 6.292 per cent Step-up Tier one Insurance Capital Securities (ISIN: XS0222395468) (the "Notes") that it shall redeem the Notes in full on 1 July 2015 (i.e. the Reset Date) at their principal amount together with accrued interest to (but excluding) 1 July 2015.

In addition, the Issuer has applied to the Financial Conduct Authority, in its capacity as United Kingdom Listing Authority, to cancel the listing of the Notes on the Official List of the United Kingdom Listing Authority with effect from (and including) 2 July 2015.
