Bank of Yokohama Signs Business Agreement with State Bank of India
OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Yokohama, Ltd. (the “Bank”) has entered into an agreement today with State Bank of
India (“SBI”), a local bank in India, to reinforce its capability to support its customers in India.
By this business agreement, we could provide customers in India financial services such as opening an account and payment settlements through SBI, as well as a channel to information.
SBI is the biggest state-owned commercial bank in India and has approximately 16,000 branches throughout the state. In Japan, SBI has 2 branches (Tokyo branch and Osaka branch) and is also providing the consultation service and other services.
The Bank will continue to respond to wide-ranging needs for its customers and further reinforce its capability to support its customers in Asia.
