OREANDA-NEWS. AVTOVAZ will start sales of the Lada Kalina with clutchless automated gearbox in early summer. Initially the model will be available in estate car variant for 472,300 roubles.

According to Kolesa.ru portal, the first lot of the Lada Kalina with a new type of transmission was assembled at AVTOVAZ in April. Preliminary orders for the model with a ‘robot’ have been taken since May, and dealers will start sales of the vehicle in early summer. The estate car became the first model of the Lada Kalina family, equipped with clutchless automated gearbox. So, the full range of transmissions is available for the vehicle - manual, automatic gearboxes and even ‘robot’ now. 

Automated gearbox is coupled with 1.6-liter 106 hp engine. Four-speed Jatco automatic gearbox is offered with 87 hp 8-valve engine and 98 hp 16-valve engine with the same capacity.
