OREANDA-NEWS. The new generation KIA Sorento crossover will be on sale at KIA dealers in Russia in July 2015. Prices and packages of the brand-new will be announced closer to the start date. At the moment there is information that the list of equipment of the Russian version of the KIA Sorento will include a blind zone monitoring sensor, all-sky camera and a heated steering wheel, AvtoSreda reports. 

In Europe, the KIA Sorento is offered with 2.4 liter petrol engine, and 2.0- and 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel engines. Capacity of power units varies from 185 hp to 200 hp. In March it was announced that production of the new KIA Sorento has already started at Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad.

The current generation crossover is available in Russia with 2.4-liter 175 hp petrol engine and 2.2-liter diesel engine producing 197 hp. The model of 2015 production year costs from 1,475,000 roubles to 1,880,000 rubles.
